Valentine's Loving and Quintessence Raw Restaurant

Hey Sweet Friends! I hope you all had a great weekend. :) Ours was busy, as usual and this week is jam packed with things to do. Last week was relaxed because we were all under the weather, so we are making up for it this week.

Going back to Valentine's Day.. This was my gift from T. He had a scavenger hunt where he hid all my gifts around the house, it was so fun! 4 boxes of raw organic local chocolate from Vita, 3 massages and a facial! Yay Groupon deals! I already scheduled everything. Going to be a relaxing few months! ;)

Here is my little Valentine. She was still on the mend, but of course she was her normal spunky self.

I had to take a break from chocolate at some point, lol, so I made a smoothie with blueberries, Sunwarrior Vanilla Warrior Blend, Maca (hello, it was Valentine's Day!), bananas, romaine and water. Yum! In the background is the picture Little A and I  made for T. We got the idea on Pinterest.

Here are the gorgeous flowers T got me. I use to be a "roses girl", but I told T, I'd rather a bouquet of different flowers and colors, I like a variety.

T got Little A a corsage. She loved it and felt so special!

We ordered dinner from a local Italian place. I was so stuffed on chocolate, that I just had a small salad.

On Sunday, we celebrated some more at Quintessence in NYC. We had bought a Groupon deal and it was our first time visiting. I ordered a Ginger Chai Latte made with cashew milk. So GOOD!

I had the raw burger which had yellow mustard (tasted just like the real (or is it fake?), yellow mustard!), pickles (they were amazing!!!), lettuce, tomato, onion, and a BBQ sauce. On the side was a salad with a delicious dressing and some crispy corn chips. This was one of the best raw meals I've ever had!!!! The portions were big and the quality was there! Little A had some cooked Socca with Hummus that she loved and T had a cooked platter that was a quinoa bowl, salad, soup, and some roasted vegetables. He said it was delicious. We are going to go back soon! WE LOVED IT!

After that, we hit up One Lucky Duck! I had a gift card that was burning a hole in my pocket!

I bought two half pints of ice cream: "Orreo" and "Almond Butter Cup". I haven't tried yet, I will let you know how amazing they are! ;)

I also got a Moonpie and a Caramel Bar that is like a "Twix". I am a big fan of their Moonpies and the Caramel Bar was excellent as well. Little A had an "Orreo", she enjoyed it, had most on her face. Ha ha!

Have a great day!!!

Looks like a fun Valentine's day! What a cute idea to give little A a corsage. The ginger chai looks amazing. I've been having a lot of chai lately. And that burger... making me hungry.

Glad you had lots of love on V-day :)

I love Quintessence - I bought the same Groupon! It's been a while since I've been, though, I didn't realize they sold cooked dishes as well now. I really want to go back for brunch.
Lucky Little A. Glad she got something on Valentine's day too.
