Sick Food

Happy Day after Valentine's Day! AKA: Chocolate Hangover Day! ;) He he! I was very spoiled, as always!! I will post all about our Valentine's Day fun on Monday (since we will be celebrating on the weekend as well).

So, I totally left out an ingredient in my cashew dip recipe! But I updated and it's all good now! Forgot the Coconut Aminos!

I've been making Kristen's Raw Coconut Yogurt weekly! I can't get enough of that stuff! This was a fresh coconut that T cracked open. Mmm!

I've been juicing just about everyday. Little A loves using the juicer and asks for "Shuice" all the time! This one was romaine, parsley, carrots, ginger and lemon.

We also dug into a fresh organic mango.

Another delicious smoothie: spinach, banana, frozen peaches, coconut oil, Sunwarrior Vanilla Warrior Blend, bee pollen.

We've all been a little under the weather over here with bad colds. Little A has only been sick one other time, so I am not use to a sick little lady! It was no fun! I made us some veggie soup with broccoli, purple potatoes, peas, carrots, celery, and lots of garlic. Perfect!

I stocked up on Nettles for tea this week.

This was another green juice: romaine, orange and lemon. Lots of Vitamin C!

And another yummy smoothie: Matcha Green Tea powder, banana, Dandy Blend, Maca, spinach, 2 scoops of Vanilla Sunwarrior Warrior Blend, and water.

I am still receiving birthday love! My beautiful friend Lauren sent me this package of awesome! ;) Check out her blog, it's filled with good info and yummy eats!!
Also, check out my girl Courtney's Goddess List, she's a big chocolate gal as well. ;)
Have a love filled weekend, friends!

All of these foods look so delicious, especially for cold and sick days! The soup looked very hearty and the smoothies looked ridiculously fresh.

I'm not sure what it is about spinach in smoothies, but I've just fallen in food-love with it lately!

Little A is getting some good habits started early. Love it. So sad she's sick but that it's only the second time, wow! Hope you get well soon.

Where do you purchase your nettles from? I am also in central Jersey so I'm hoping you'll say somewhere local so I don't have to pay for shipping :)

Hi Katie. These are from amazon. Frontier organic nettles. I get free shipping because I have amazon prime. :)
