Welcoming 2013 with Loving Arms

Hey Lovies! Happy 2013!! I am so excited for this year, lots of intentions and happy thoughts for what's ahead. I'm looking forward to the fresh start, healing is still number one on my list along with being present in my life and enjoying every second. :)

I hope you all had a fantastic New Years! On New Years Eve, we went to Deans in Basking Ridge and had lunch. Little A and I shared this green juice that had apple, kale, spinach and lemon in it.

We also couldn't resist their egg nog smoothie which is banana, almond milk nutmeg, cinnamon and dates.

I had my usual raw collard wrap..

Of course Little A stole some of it. I was surprised at how much she enjoyed the collard part! My little "rawkstar!"

Later on, we had my Bestie-sis-in-law, bro-in-law and niece over for dinner and to hang out. I snacked on kale chips..

And Kombucha with lemon... I'm fancy like that! ;)

We ordered take out from our favorite local sushi place. Little A and I shared these avocado and avocado cucumber rolls made with black rice. I also had a side salad.

On New Years Day, T and I celebrated 12 years together (since dating)! We didn't do anything too exciting, just ran some errands and had lunch at Whole Foods with Little A. This was my salad: kale, cabbage, carrots, peppers, radishes, hummus, tomatoes and red onion.

The end of 2012 was a lucky one for me, I won a few giveaways including this Gnosis Chocolate gift from Healthy Crush.

And this totally sweet sign from PureMamas. I plan on putting this in our basement which is in the process of being renovated right now. It's going to be a play area/gym/meditation/yoga spot. Can't wait! :)

Hope you are off to a wondering shiny new year! :)

Happy new year! I was wishing for some kombucha as I rang it in, too. I've been craving it lately. I think I might make a Whole Foods trip tomorrow to get some.

That sushi looks so much better than the avocado and cucumber rolls I can get around here. Yum!

Speaking of yum, congrats on winning that Gnosis Chocolate. Perfect timing for celebrating your dating anniversary. Happy anniversary!
