Meals from before grain/bean free..

Hey all! Thanks for all the comments on my new plan. So far, so good. I've noticed a lot less bloating. Especially at night which is usually when I'd eat grains and beans. So we will see! This is going to take some time but I'm determined to heal, so it's worth it! Anyway, here are my meals from before I went "bean/grain free"..

This was a kale salad with tomatoes, quinoa and raw olives.

One of Little A's meals: Golden Berries, Raw Kraut, Avocado, Lima Beans, Chickpeas and Kale chips and some Quinoa mixed with broccoli and hummus. All vegan, organic and gluten free.

This was Dreena Burton's Chickpea Ratatouille over a kale salad.

Sueshe and her friend..

And finally, a smoothie in my cool new mason jar that looks like a wine glass! ;) This was Chocolate Warrior Blend, Spinach, Cordyceps, Reishi, Banana, Maca, Almond Butter and Cacao Powder. Chocolate goodness!!!

Have a great weekend! Monday's post will have my more recent eats! XO

Hi! I really hope you can be off prednisone soon and heal yourself! I am a 24 years old woman in Sweden and I found your blog some time ago. I have read a lot since then and it´s really exciting to follow you! I suffer from severe IBS and ME/CFS and have tried to heal my self for many years...but I haven´t found my way yet. There is some kind of autoimmune reaction in my body and I guess all my problems depends on a leaky gut, like many others diseases. I am sure there is a cure and I am still searching for it.. I have tried everything, but now I know I feel best as a vegan. I tried a 80/10/10 fruitarian diet and it was the best I have tried, but it´s not easy to get ripe fruit in Sweden and my teeth was damaged (and I don´t feel good with so small amounts of fat, even if I also have hard to digest fats). When I started reading your blog I began thinking about a high raw vegan diet, but I don't know how to start! I eat a lot of gluten free grains, but I know they actually cause me problems...I think I need to go grain and bean free, but maybe still eat some cooked veggies. I hope you excuse this long comment:) But I wonder if you have some advice to give, where do I start? Is there a good book where I can find help? I wish you all the best! /Martina

Hi Martina, I hope I can help. This diet has really been an evolvement for me. Lots of trial and error. I discovered raw foods after ready Paul Nisons book on healing crohns and colitis. You may want to start there. Everyone is different and what works for me, may not work for you. Just listen to your body and go with that. :) lots of healing love to you!

I hope the changes help, your gut heals, and you can kick the prednisone to the curb forever. It certainly is an ever-evolving process. Your plan looks awesome. Best of luck to you!

Oh! That's right! Quinoa is a pseudograin not a real grain. Phew! Maybe I could try this then :) So Millet, Amaranth, Quinoa okay? I'll keep reading - I'm behind in blog reading AGAIN :)

Hi Lauren! Thank you so much, I´ll search for Paul Nison:) I totally agree with you, everyone is different. I have been struggling with my health for so long time and I have seen people heal with for example SCD/GAPS and fruitarian diet, but it doesn´t heal me. I still looking for my way and I hope I find it one day:)
