Homemade Junkie

Happy Friday Butterflies! I hope you all had a great week! I am still doing good eating bean/grain free, Tuesday was one week. So far things are improving. :)

So I have a little obsession with Etsy, I am a homemade junkie, although, I never make anything myself! ;) I am pretty crafty, just never have the time. Now that Little A is getting bigger, we are doing more art projects and stuff. I'd love to learn to knit one day. Some of my favorite gifts came handmade. Little A is lucky, she has a lot of beautiful handmade gems (quilts, blankets, pins, hats). Anyway, this is my latest Etsy buys: An Ashwanga tincture, Organic Rose Salve and Jewel Weed Spray, also, not pictured some Chamomile salve. I'm obsessed with this store!

Here are some recent eats: this was mashed cauliflower with raw kale, cooked onions and garlic and raw olives. Yum!

My friend Andrea told me about this awesome Curry Paste that is made locally near her. I ordered some on Amazon and it's the BEST! So good! I've been adding it to everything!

This was lunch one day: raw kale salad with cabbage slaw, tomatoes and peppers

Last weekend, I made a cauliflower crust pizza using this recipe but with the vegan substitutes she mentions. I topped it with sauce, raw olives, pine nut "cheese" and kale. Pretty good!

My lovely, beautiful, shining, soul sister Sophie sent me some of her AMAZING Cacao Magic to try out. This stuff is AWESOME!!!! I've been adding it to all my smoothies and it's so good for you with reishi, chaga, maca, cordyceps and many more superfoods in it. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!! Check out all her superfood blends. Sophie is a mover and shaker for sure! ;)

This was breakfast for Little A one morning: apple, banana, carrot raisin manna bread topped with coconut oil and Manuka honey and her raw multivitamin and DHA pills.

Speaking of Little A, I got her this nighttime tea because she loves sharing tea with me at night.

This was an all raw dinner one night: endive filled with "tun-no" pate. I used this recipe minus the cashews (I was out).

This was lunch one afternoon: butter lettuce, radishes, dill, celery, raw flax crackers, kimchi, turmeric, coconut vinegar and cold pressed olive oil.

Here is a tonic I enjoyed one day: Dandy Blend, Cacao Magic, Coconut Oil and Almonds all blended with water. Mmmmm!

I started working with Kettle Bells right after Christmas. WOW, what an amazing all over workout! My Mother-in-law got me hooked! Have you tried?

And finally, I received my spiritual name from 3ho.org I thought it was pretty accurate! :)

Have a wonderful weekend! XO

I love crafty stuff too and hope to someday, when I'm done with school, to have space and time to do more of it.

Thai True is awesome and locally made here in Oregon! I didn't know about Andrea and she's so close to where I live. Thanks for sharing that :)

The cacao magic looks really good.

Everything looks great, as usual! I actually have the curry coming in the mail any day now. When you posted I had to go and buy (of course!) So cute Little A wants to join in on tea time. I posted something about Allero tea's a few nights ago, but you should check them out on amazon - great combo's. My shopping cart is filled with about 5-6 different flavors. :)

Hi Lauren,
Thanks for adding me to your blogroll! I love that etsy site and see a few goodies I'll have to get for my birthday. I'm also very much into kundalini yoga. I think we have a lot in common. It's nice to meet you.

Haha homemade by someone else. funny. It's so good to keep those people in business. It just feels so much better when your money goes directly to the person who made it.

Ok does pretty good mean bad or just Ok or pretty good? Just checking. I am not allowed to have cauliflower for awhile but I've been curious about that recipe. Ps: try almond flour on the eggplant parm if you are craving it!

So glad your health is improving. Looks like your revamped diet is just as tasty. That pizza looks yummy.

Etsy does have some of the best stuff. I can see why you love it so much.

I saw that Cacao Magic on the Colourful Palate site on a couple of occasions. I need to order some of that.
