Eating My Way To Health

Happy Monday, Sunshine! I hope you all had a nice weekend. I'm feeling better and better everyday and looking forward to what my new approach has to offer! ;)

This was a delicious smoothie I made one day: banana, Ormus Greens, Sunwarrior Chocolate Warrior Blend, Ashwanga, Cordyceps and Cacao Magic.

I made an amazing Curry Cauliflower Soup that I found on Pinterest. I pureed it but kept it a little chunky, we like a little bite to our soups. ;) Topped with sauteed shittake mushrooms, this was a big hit with all 3 of us!

Little A and I shared this easy lunch one day that we grabbed while shopping at Whole Foods: fresh pressed green juice and salt and vinegar kale chips!

I made spaghetti squash with tomato sauce and mushrooms one night (I think I'm on a mushroom kick!).

On Saturday, we checked out a new local organic place. You may remember, I bought their raw chocolates all Summer long at the farmer's market, well they opened up a shop with a chocolate factory attached! HOW COOL? I had a kale salad with cherry tomatoes and hemp seeds.

They also had lots of raw snacks. Here is what I grabbed: their signature Vita Raw Chocolates in Goji, Just Pure Foods Sour Cream and Onion Zucchini Chips (THESE ARE TO LIVE FOR!) and two Rawnola Bars.

I also had a craving for some Durian, so we went to the Asian market and bought some frozen and a fresh one. I am one of those people that LOVES Durian, even if it is stinky! ;)

I made this smoothie when I got home: Durian, Sunwarrior Chocolate Warrior Blend, Dandy Blend, Banana, Reishi, Maca and Cordyceps.

This was my Saturday night dinner: Raw Falafel from Crazy Sexy Kitchen on a salad with raw olives, cherry tomatoes, kimchi and a dressing I made of cashews, water, nutritional yeast, Coconut Aminos and a little mustard. YUM!

And finally, Little A thought this was hilarious. Sueshe is such a good sport! ;)

Have an amazing day! XO

Lauren, I'm glad you continue to feel better! I can see why. Your food looks fresh, healthy, and full of healing nutrition. I love your smoothies these days. I need to try that cacao magic! The soup looks awesome too. We LOVE mushrooms at my house, especially shiitakes.

Have a great week!

Lovely, healthy stuff here - all mixed in with some chocolate. I approve! The curry cauliflower soup with mushrooms sounds awesome. I'm a big mushroom fan too.
The falafel salad sounds great. How do you like the coconut aminos? I only tried it once but wasn't a huge fan. maybe I need to add more flavors.

I remember that green juice and kale chip picture from twitter. So sweet that you two ladies got to share it. Hayden and I shared some kale chips last night.
