Going back to the weekend, on Sunday, T, Little A and I checked out a health food store a little further away. I was grinning ear to ear when I saw this sign..
Cute pictures on the windows..
And a Koi Pond, which Little A love (we have one at our pool club too).
I picked up a bunch of fun goodies. I really didn't think this Raw Contrast Cookie was going to be anything special, man was I wrong! YUMMO! Loved the chocolate filling! Wish I bought more!
This raw chocolate was okay, my favorite is still Sacred Chocolate.
Another flavor of Rhythm Raw Kale Chips: Texas BBQ. These really tasted like BBQ Chips, but the texture was a little off. Delicious anyway!
For T and I (and Little A ate plenty of this as well), I made a Cumin Lime Chickpea Salad that I found on Pinterest. We also had a salad on the side.
Earlier this week, Little A and I went to the pool. They have a park there and baseball fields, Little A likes to make me walk all around the fields before leaving. LOL!
I am making my first homemade batch of Kraut!!!! I am so excited to try it on Thursday!
I used The Perfect Pickler. I heard great things about it, I hope it comes out good!
And finally, Little A sucking down an Organic Peach!
Have a great day!! XO

Recently bought a magazine called Urban Farming. I was actually going to ask if you had heard about the Perfect Pickler. LOL Let me know how it turns out and if its worth buying!
My husband wants a perfect pickler too. We've heard good things. Would love to know how it goes.
Now I want brown rice avocado sushi.
Yes looking forward to the fall which I typically don't but this year I am.
Aw that's such a cute pic of Little A! And yay for organic juice bars!!
Homemade kraut, can't wait to see how it turns out! I'm making that chickpea salad.
What a cute little peach eater!
Looking forward to your update on how your kraut making went!!!!!
good luck with the sauerkraut! i tried it in just a bowl one year and all i made was fruit flies. alas.
I've never been a big fan of kraut but of course, my experience was a long time ago and it was that cooked stuff people put on hot dogs (gross!). I'll have to try homemade. It looks so refreshing and clean. I love going to our local juice bar. Don't go there very often since we have a juicer but it's nice to have someone make it for me once in a while.
I am totally looking forward to Fall already too. I don't have much tolerance for the heat.
I'm excited to hear about your kraut! I just bought a case of mason jars so I can give it a go, too. The raw kraut at Whole Foods is becoming an expensive habit :)
