Jolly July!

Hey All! Happy July! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. The temps were in the high 90's here, so we've been trying to keep cool. We are hoping it cools down before the 4th, so we can watch the fireworks comfortably.

Anyway, my weekend started off with this salad on Friday: sprouts, avocado, Bubbies Pickles, left over kales chips, raw slaw and raw kraut.
Saturday morning I had this smoothie: dried figs, banana, spinach, e3Live, Sunwarrior Chocolate Warrior Blend, water and wheatgrass powder. YUM!
We had lunch at Wild Greens (a local salad place) on Saturday afternoon. I had a salad  made with Spring mix, chickpeas, sundried tomatoes, radishes and balsamic vinegar and olive oil.
On Saturday night, we went to my bestie sister-in-law and brother-in-law's house for a little BBQ. This was my plate: lots of salad, vegan baked beans and two Hilary's Veggie Burgers (they are GF, Soy-Free and Vegan!) topped with mustard and a little BBQ sauce.
On Sunday, we made a quick stop at the Farmer's Market (it was too hot to stay long). I had delicious blended drink of water, lemon, cucumber, ginger and watermelon with Stevia. Perfect way to cool down!
I also picked up some organic lettuce.
After that we went to Whole Foods for lunch. I made a salad of wild sprouts, hummus, raw kale and chickpeas.
I also I had a few pieces of chocolate that I picked up at the Farmer's Market. Love this Vita chocolate, as I mentioned in this post. This flavor had organic peanuts in it, so I don't think it's 100% raw, but the other ingredients were all raw.  Either way, it's delicious! ;)
And finally, my little Missy Ginger relaxing in the sun before it got too hot!
Have a wonderful Monday! I have a lot going on this week with the 4th and all, so I will be back with lots of yummy food soon! XO

Yes, that watermelon-ginger drink sounds so good and cooling! I might have to try to make one of those soon.
And it looks like you're already set for the 4th of July with those BBQ eats.

It has been way to long since a Ginger photo! She's a sweetie!

I love the Sunwarrior chocolate! I just finished 2kg of it, so it is time for a new bag! I can't get enough of it.
