| The race was a blast! I loved running through the mud and doing obstacles (running up steep hills, not so much). T stayed with me (he usually finishes in the top 25%, I held him back this time, but he didn't mind at all). I climbed walls, slid down the other side, climbed up and across ropes (and have bruises to show it!), crawled under barbed wire in mud, swam across a lake, ran up steep hills, ran through mud up to my waist, dodged swinging tires, hopped over fire and hurdles. PHEW! Definitely, challenging! I am really proud of myself for doing this, especially with Crohn's as a "handicap" so to speak. |

Congrats on the race! So glad you felt well enough to do it. You are an inspiration.
Does little A ever ask for what daddy is eating or curious about no vegan food?
I meant non-vegan food
Good question! No she doesn't really notice. She is usually eating her own food. Sometimes she will reach for things like popcorn or pretzels. But we say it will give her boo boo because she could choke. I'm sure when she is older she will understand more and we can explain better. Of course I'll let her have popcorn and stuff (vegan) but since she doesn't understand yet, I don't think she needs it.
Those mud runs look like a blast. Congrats on doing it! That bean salad looks very tasty.
I can't believe little A is getting so big. She isn't a baby anymore!
My husband isn't vegan only at home but when we have mixed company he will bbq some animal products and the rest of the food is vegan. Salads, crudités, etc. Everyone loves the veg items.
Wow, Lauren, WTG!
super impressed!
Wow, great job on the race Lauren! I have yet to complete anything like that. you're my inspiration :)
