Eating Eats

Hey Beauties! I hope you all had a great week! Thanks for all the support in my last post. I know a lot of people want to help and are doing it out of kindness, but that isn't what I was talking about. I am talking about emails from people who have never commented saying "YOU CAN'T EAT THAT, WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU!" Yea, friendly people out there. :) I know my readers who give me suggestions are only doing it out of love and aren't criticising and judging me.

Anyway, the green juice has been flowing freeing around here. This was romaine, parsley, apple and lemon.

One night for dinner I made this lentil loaf (used GF bread crumbs and modified a few things) and an artichoke steamed with garlic and olive oil.
Here is another picture of the loaf. I would make this again but using sweet potatoes! That would be really good!
I finally tried some chocolate covered kale chips! Oh my word! What a great combo. Both of my favorite foods, how did I not think of this when I was pregnant? ;)
I made this simple dinner one night: broccoli, garlic and white beans over quinoa.
Speaking of simple meals, this was a lunch I had one day: avocado, raw kraut and Bubbies pickles sprinkled with dulse flakes.
The lovely Callie was kind enough to send me a little "Belated Birthday/Get Well" batch of her Rawxies! She is the sweetest! And her product.. AWESOME!
The pups wanted to make an appearance.. Here is SUESHE!
And of course, the infamous, GINGER!
Have a great weekend all!

The lentil loaf looks really yummy! And I think the sweet potato might just be good too...With food we can always change it up a bit for different tastes!

How is Sueshe doing these days? I know she wasn't in the greatest health when you adopted her but she looks pretty fabulous here! So happy you are enjoying your favorite foods again...everything looks so yummy as usual!

It's so great to know you are doing well! Remicade made such a difference for me. If I didn't start it, I would for sure have ended up with a colostomy bag.

Also, the green juice and smoothies has made my gut MUCH happier. So, I say GO VEGAN! Screw those people that tell you what to eat!

yeah it's the strangers with their advice that is less helpful because they don't really know you and just think of themselves. a lot of people can be very adamant that what worked for them has to work for another. but it's just not that easy!

sueshe and ginger are so cute. so glad you found room for sueshe in your life.

love all the eats, i may have to try some choc covered kale chips one of these days.
