Hi All!
Thank you so much for the outpouring love and support! I truly appreciate it. All of that energy really makes me feel better. I had my first infusion on Thursday and by Saturday morning, I felt 90% better! I even resumed my normal high raw diet with no issues (I don't recommend this for everyone since it can bring on a flare, but I went slow and started with softer foods). Anyway, I just wanted to mention a few things.. I do plan on continuing to eat my normal diet (even stepping it up a notch so that I can be confident that my cells are healthy, even while on this medication). Also, I do believe that raw diets and vegan diets CAN cure some diseases and ailments. My issue is that I have what is considered a VERY severe case of Crohn's. Actually, my doctor calls it "Crohn's Colitis" because I share symptoms of both Crohn's disease and Ulcerative Colitis. When I had my blood test it said that I was 99% positive for Crohn's and 98% positive for Colitis, so we just call it Crohn's. I don't think having both disease is common, and it really stinks to have all the symptoms. But, I am not going to dwell on it, I am going to live a full healthy life and be the best me I can be. I am so happy that I can enjoy raw foods again and I will be loading up on the green juice and other super healthy raw stuff. Life is too short to be sick all the time. :)

love reading such an uplifting post in the morning! i'm so happy you are feeling positive about it! XOXO
Such good news that you're feeling some better! Keeping you in my thoughts and on my prayer list.
One thing I LOVE about our blogging (high-raw/vegan) community is the love and support we can, and do, offer eachother as we walk our individual paths. For those of us on healing journeys it is priceless, at least that is my experience as I walk toward wellness.
If you'd like, I'd be happy to send you long distance Reiki?
All love,
Treesa
Yay good news! Do they know when this all started? Did you have health issues when you were young?
Thanks all! No issues at all until I was 21! They don't know was causes crohns, an immune reaction they say..
Happy to see you're doing better and able to eat the foods you love again :)
I always think that a raw foods diet is a supplement, it can't always be everything to everyone. Sometimes it makes you BETTER, but not 100%. That's ok. I am just so happy to hear you feel better, it's nice to have some relief, huh? Hope it keeps up.
thinking of you! glad you are making progress.

I am glad that you are feeling better....my husband has UC but we are pretty sure he actually hs both as well....he is in a flare right now (since August) and we cannot get him out of it!!! We notice diet helps when he is NOT in a flare to keep him healthy but once it comes on it doesn't seem like diet helps much....we do not have insurance so he has not seen a dr for a few years so we are dealing with this on our own. It is scary for sure!!!
It is so nice to hear that you are feeling better - I was diagnosed with Crohns when I was 26; no family history, long time vegetarian then vegan; I have been incorporating more raw foods into my diet and have been Juicing everyday at least twice a day, and let me tell you it has been amazing. Thank you for sharing, it is nice to know that there are others out there with similiar life stories.
My hubby has been diagnosed with both as well. Today all he takes is something called "6MP". Since he started that medicine about 6 years ago he has not gotten sick or had any flares. It's helped him alot.
Yay, glad you're on the mend! Hope it continues. I love your positive and fiesty spirit!
Your positive attitude is a true inspiration. I'm glad you're feeling so much better!
