Anyway, we started off our weekend at Whole Foods on Friday night for groceries and dinner. I was very happy to see they had this new RAW coconut water, too bad it had a sour taste to it. My favorite is still Taste Nirvana.
At the salad bar, I loaded up with raw kale and veggies with chickpeas and a few falafel. Yummy!
On Saturday, we headed our west to one of our favorite health food stores and hit up some farms! ;) At the health food store I had a salad that was filled with fresh raw veggies, sprouts, avocado and a "housemade" veggie burger!
I was pleased to see they had this: Sorghum "Popcorn". Lauren had just posted about this and I was excited to see an alternative to regular popcorn (which tends to cause my Crohn's to flare). This was super yummy and just like the real thing! I only wish I bought more then one bag.
I followed that with some Gingerade Kombucha. Mmm, so warming!
We stopped at a farm so Baby A could see the animals. We like to bring her to different places so she gets to see new things.
The baby goat were so adorable!!! I wish they were roaming free though! :(
This cow was just a baby, so sweet. I couldn't help but wonder if it was going to be eaten in the future. :( I will keep positive and say no, it will live a happy long life on the farm! ;)
The farm had soy candles and I couldn't resist when I saw the scent "Hot Apple Pie". Smells amazing!
For dessert, I picked up this raw organic Fearless Chocolate Bar at the health food store..
I love the little bite it comes with! So cute!
Later that evening, my brother-in-law and sister-in-law stopped by with their pup, Bella. Ginger and Sueshe had fun with their cousin! ;)
Have a great day! XO

looks like you had LOTS of fun!!! Love the cows they are sooo cute!! to think that people eat them.. :(
That all looks so delicious! Especially the salad from Whole Foods. I could seriously live in Whole Foods, not joking!
A sour coconut water? I hope you returned it! Yuck.
Maybe baby A can go to Farm Sanctuary someday to see animals in the best possible environment. I know she would love it there. Too bad it is isn't closer to you.
I remember feeling cheated by the fearless chocolate. I wanted that bite back. Cute, yes, but it was missing a square!
Wow everything looks so good. I love the look of the salads. Yum . To bad the coconut water was not good. That has happened to me to, but different brand. I love fall to.:)
I heard somewhere that Whole Foods now makes their own raw nut milk. For that I am extremely jealous that I don't live near one. But the food you got looks amazing.
Yum, I've had such a bad craving the last couple of days for potatoes. I tend to always want potatoes when I am on a juicefeast for some reason. Will have to finish up this cleanse and wait 'till they are in season before I try out T's recipe. So want a spoon of it now though, ha.
*sorry had to delete my first post - I hate typos. :)
I can't believe she has a birthday coming up already. That year went fast.
The animals in this post are so cute.
I also think it's funny that the chocolate bar has a bite in it. I'll have to look out for that kind.
I swear every time I go to the store there is a new coconut water company haha
Ginger kombucha is my fav!!! I miss my chocolate :(

I've tried to pop Sorghum to only end up with a burnt mess. Errrrr. I'll have look out for the already popped kind.
Man, Raw Coconut water!!!! We do not have that yet! Everything looks great! Ahhhh......loved the little animals the most. WISH that all the people who want to KILL VICK, "got" that a pig is no different than a dog.
ok so I have a sinful tip on how to enjoy the new "popcorn" I put a dab or two of Earth Balance on top of a bowl of the mini pops and put in microwave for a few seconds. Added a dash of Himalayan salt, mixed and ate a bowl ful (or two) with a spoon. Try it out!
aw, cute pups! We just tried that raw coconut water today. It was pretty good. Mine wasn't sour but could detect it slightly as an aftertaste. Our faves are Taste Nirvana or C20.
