Sad times and Happy times

Hey All! What a busy couple of days it has been. On Saturday morning I found out that my mother's step mother had passed away after a long battle with cancer. :( This week will be crazy with the wake and funeral going on, so if you don't hear from me, that is why.

On Friday I got an order I had placed and I couldn't be happier. A jar of Greener Grasses, two Rawtella's (OMG, RUN DON'T WALK TO GET YOURSELF SOME!), and a raw vegan brownie which was also delicious.
T, Baby A and I took a trip a little north to Montclair to check out a vegan place he had found on Happy Cow: The Blended Beverage. They have a ton of raw options as well. I am all for supporting vegan restaurants, even if I have to travel!
I ordered the RNS Burger. Which was a nut meat burger, lettuce, tomato and onion on napa cabbage. This was so good! Much better then any raw burger I have ever attempted. So much flavor! I can't wait to try out the other menu items!
I picked up some more ChocAlive Truffles at Whole Foods. This time I tried the Almond  flavor.
Another winner!!!! These truffles are so good! I am so happy my Whole Foods carries them now (but they are very expensive!).
A happier event took place this weekend. My future sister-in-law/bestie 's bridal shower!!! I am a bridesmaid and although Baby A won't be at the wedding, she is kinda an honorary flower girl. Here she is all dressed up for the event! I use her crib for photo shoots. LOL, she co-sleeps in my bed, so at least her crib gets some use!
And finally, I made this salad today for lunch: romaine, mesclun (from my garden), a Sunshine Burger, hummus, Bubbies and left over kale chip crumbs (you know, the stuff left over in the container, perfect seasoning!).
This is our last week of P90x. I am really happy with my results, and I only have a little more baby weight to lose. Should be off in time for the wedding in July! Yippy! ;) Have a great day all!

So sorry to hear about your mom's step mom. So sad.

We use greener grasses here but I have yet to try rawtella. I better run and get some!

Love the Baby A pic - so cute in her frilly clothes!

I'm sorry to hear about your family's loss. I'm sending you a squeeze.

Baby A looks lovely in her pink dress - I was also really excited to read that you are still co-sleeping. The evidence about the benefits is really growing.

That rawtella sounds delicious. I may need to make a U.S. road trip soon.

I'm terribly sorry about your mother's step-mom. Hope you are all great comfort to one another.

Baby A looks super cute and sort has that surprised "how did you find me here?" look :)

Would you believe I have Rawtella and am too stingy to open it?! What am I waiting for? What is your favorite way to eat it? Shall I dip apples in it? Oh, wait, I have saw raw granola bars...hmmmm....might dip into that right now! :)

So sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to your family.

I need to try Rawtella, where did you order from? I will be running once I know WHERE to go!

I need to get working on making more raw burgers. Thanks for the reminder.

Sorry to hear about your mom's step mom. Sending you hugs this week.

Thanks for posting all of the treats. I love the little truffles. They always look so perfect. I had(not sure if I still do) to buy a case of Rawtella wholesale. I guess I should have done that from your review.

Your little Baby A is very cute:). Love the pics and always so pink. So cute.

Sorry to hear about your loss..
Do you mix the greener grass with water, or drink it straight? I take wheatgrass shots and grass pills and really like them.. havent heard about the greener grasses though..
I've added you to my blogroll and bookmark, looking foward to reading more! :)
