Anyway, I tried the other 2 flavors of KeVita that I bought. This was the Strawberry Acai. I liked this one the least, but it was still really good.
And this was the Mango Coconut, my favorite so far. I am usually not a mango flavor person, but with the coconut it tasted like an island drink! ;) Yummy!
As I mentioned, I had some blood work done. Turns out everything was perfect! I don't get my vitamin D results until I see my gastro, next month. But my general doctor gave me my other results, and my iron perfect along with cholesterol, thyroid, blood sugar, calcium and some other tests. The only thing that was low was my blood count, which is because I have anemia from Crohn's and Thalassemia Minor (I've had it my whole life, it's a trait found in Italians and other Mediterraneans). So my doctor doesn't worry about that. But I think my iron levels were normal due to the amount of Nettle tea I drink! ;) I've also been drinking lots of Raspberry Leaf tea to ton my uterus and help it shrink back.
The results of my sprouts!
T and I enjoyed them on a veggie burger one night. I also topped it with hummus, Bubbies pickles and avocado all wrapped in a collard leaf. On the side we had baked sweet potato fries.
Yummy green juice one afternoon: Kale Stems, Celery and Green Apple.
For dinner one night I made Callie's quinoa with butternut squash! I baked the butternut squash instead of cooking it in a pan (only because I could leave it while it cooked to take care of Baby A). I also added white beans. So good! Thanks Callie!!
And finally, lunch one day: romaine, sun dried tomatoes (which are a good source of Vitamin D, hence why I am always eating them), Bubbies pickles, a Sunshine Burger and raw sprouted sunflower seeds.
Have a wonderful weekend!!

Hi Lauren! It seems like yesterday that you posted the arrival of Baby A, how time flies! Enjoy every second!!! You've inspired me to make a collard wrap for my lunch today. I wish I could reach through my computer screen and grab one (or two) of those baked sweet potato fries! YUM! Great to hear your blood work came back A-OK! :-) Have a Fan-tabulous Friday and wonderful weekend!
Lauren, I read that and I can't tell you how happy it made me that you liked it!!! And, I love the idea of baking the squash as well - what a nice touch :)
Love the new glass! And your sprouts look so good and cute to boot!
You know you're doing something right when your tests come back healthy. WTG mama!
Congrats again on the good numbers. Cheers to nettle tea!
Good to hear your review on the Kevita drink. I'll look for it when I'm on the east coast next.
I love the Mango Coconut Kevita too - definitely my favorite. I also enjoyed the Lemon Ginger flavor as well if you haven't tried it already - yum!
You are in such an amazing time of your life.. I look back and really treasure every single second I was able to be with my kids.. I am so glad I stayed home with them for most of their lives.. the babyhood.. it is such an intense, special time.. I'm so happy for you that you can be home with her. It is the best job ever.
Glad to hear that test came back good :) Your sprouts look great!!!
Hopefully in a few months when I start having fermented/probiotic drinks back into my diet I plan on trying those drinks out!

Three months already?!
Congrats on the good blood work results!
I'm singing Led Zeppelin now =) That Kavita is the only flavor I've tried so far and I LOVE it, so much! THe mango coconut one is in the fridge now, excited to try it! Your food all looking a.ma.zing! and your glass is awesome. We have two sets of recyled bottle glasses that are thick like that, they rock. Glad that your tests all came back great. Love your teas too, I want to get some nettle myself. Baby A is beautiful =)
