Juicy, Salads, Soup and a Find

Happy Friday Everyone! P90x is going great! We are really enjoying it! I am so excited to see results! ;) I will definitely give you all updates, since so many of you are interested.

Anyway, been drinking lots of these: collards, kale, celery and green apple. I love green apple in my juices, so tart and tangy!
I've also been enjoying lots of these (surprise, surprise!): romaine, Sunshine Burger, Bubbies pickles, avocado and my favorite dressing of curry powder, nutritional yeast, apple cider vinegar and olive oil.
Earlier this week I made this DELICIOUS soup from GLiving: Winter White Cauliflower Soup with Roasted Sweet Potatoes. I sprinkled Kaia's raw curry flavored sunflower seeds on top! So yummy! Mine is a little more yellow because of course I added curry powder to it! ;)
I found this cool to-go coffee cup (BPA FREE!) at Home Goods for $3.99! I don't drink coffee, but it's perfect for tea and every morning I drink hot lemon water with cayenne pepper and curry powder in it, while nursing.
And finally, another salad: romaine, avocado, Kaia's raw sunflower seeds, carrots, broccoli, cucumber and olives.
Have a great weekend everyone!

I have yet to try the curry powder in my hot water. I love cayenne and lemon.. but for some reason the curry powder kind of turns my stomach.. I love curry in food though.

Your green juice looks soooo great and so does the soup.

Good job with the workouts!

Go, P90X! :) I'm excited to hear how you like it. I've always heard great things about it, but that it's CRAZY INTENSE!

Your juice made my mouth water! I haven't juiced at all this week & I miss it! This morning I'm having one for sure.

xo!

Loving the Green juice too! Drinking some right now. Kale, romaine, cucumber, celery and lemon. yum.

I have to try those sunshine burgers! Do you know if they are available in Canada?

Right there with you - Green apples equal great green juices :) I love the idea of putting bubbies pickles on salad - I must try this (as I have an all out obsession with their pickles)!

So glad to hear you are enjoying the P90X. We have it but I need to get a pull up bar. I tried one day just to see if I would like it and I did. Can't wait to see your results. Is T doing this with you?

I think you are going to turn into one great big curry!! I love the dressing idea too. Might have to snag it on tonights salad for dinner. Oh and what is the benefit of having curry powder in your hot water whilst nursing? Give me all the details for this almost mama to be ;) xxx

Wow everything looks great. I think I will try your dressing, it sounds yummy. Where are your burgers from-they look good. I don't know if you watch Grey's Anatomy...but they made a comment about having a kale/apple smoothie. My hubby and I were laughing. Maybe the main stream is slowly catching on. Cheers.

Wonderful recipes and beautiful presentation! I enjoy green drinks as well. You may like to experiment with this recipe: put the following into a blender then add two or three sprigs fresh peppermint, a handful of romaine lettuce, a bunch of fresh parsley greens, or whatever greens you have in your garden that are edible. I always have comfry leaves, yarrow and mullein available. I blend this mix and then strain. You may enjoy adding a little stevia to the mix. I love it! It is alive, fresh tasting and good for me!
