Energy Meals

Hey Raindrops! I hope you all had a great weekend. Today T and I are starting P90X! We bought it for each other as a Valentine's Day gift. We both want to step up our work outs and we agreed it was something we would be willing to commit to.

Anyway, I will not be following any special diet, just my normal high-raw vegan diet with maybe some more protein added. I've been doing that anyway because I am nursing, hence why I've been eating more beans and grains (trying to get a balance of many nutrients and vitamins as well). Anyway, another one of my original salads, lol: romaine, Sunshine Burger, raw kraut, curry powder, celery, avocado, apple cider vinegar and olive oil.
I made another Buddha bowl for dinner one night, this one had red and white quinoa, raw kale, avocado, chickpeas, oil cured olives, and hemp seeds. I love making these, so easy, versatile and so delicious! I am having another one tonight!
For breakfast one morning I had my Chewy Honey Bar from One Lucky Duck. Again, I do enjoy honey on occasion.
A lovely green juice I made after some postnatal yoga: collards, kale, romaine, apple, lemon.
Kale salad with avocado and hemp seeds for lunch one day.
Another dinner last week: A "Chipotle Bowl" but this time I made it high raw and put it over romaine. This one had pinto beans, wild rice and guacamole.
Have a great day all!

Wow your pictures look great. They looks so mouth watering. I will have to give them a try. Did you ever do a post on nursing and being raw? I would love to send that one to my sister.

hope you like the P90X. Chris did it for awhile. I'd wake up and he'd be jumping all over the place. Looks like fun actually. But hard work. Hopefully all those greens help you through it!

Hi, I was on dirtyducks blog and noticed the pug as your profile so ventured on over to your blog.

First...aren't pugs the greatest? I have a 12 soon to be 13 year old pug, and she is the best!

Great blog you have here! I just became a follower of yours. :o)

We have P90X, but haven't used it too much. We got a bowflex for Christmas, so we are using that right now. I'm wanting to do the yoga and cardio of the P90X along with the bowflex though. Keep us posted as to how you are liking it.
