A Snow Story

Hey Snow Angels, I hope you all had a great week. As I am sure you may have heard, we had about 31 inches of snow dumped on us Sunday night into Monday. Baby A's first snow was a record breaker! I can't wait till she is old enough to play in it! ;) For now we've been hibernating inside and staying cozy. I've been flipping through this book, that my mother got me for Christmas. Diana Stobo's Get Naked Fast! This book is great, lots of great high raw and raw recipes. My only gripe is that some of the recipes call for kefir or ghee, both not vegan. But there are vegan alternatives, so it works.
My little angel looking out the snowy window!
Luckily, I haven't been stuck inside without chocolate!!! Before the storm, T ran to Whole Foods for "the essentials"--of course that meant raw chocolate!
You all know I love Righteously Raw's Caramel Bar! And Fine and Raw is some of the smoothest raw chocolate I have tasted. This one had Himalayan Sea Salt in it. I found the saltiness to be weird at first, but now I love it. Perfect balance!
And finally, some snow shots, here is my yard. T had to dig Ginger a maze path. See the fence to our garden! Eeek!
This was during the storm..
Falling snow..
Have a wonderful day and a safe, happy and healthy New Years!!! Any plans? T and I will be making a yummy vegan dinner and watching a movie or 2 (if we can stay awake!).  Ah, the life as a parent! ;)

All of that snow...my son would love it! It rained alot here on Californias central coast a couple of weeks ago and then more a day ago. The mountain pass to Santa Barbara has gotten 17 1/2inch of rain already...more than we get in a year. Crazy stuff but we do need the water!

"A" is too cute and getting cuter. Babies run warm so she must be nice to cuddle with.
Have a wonderful New Years! We are having some friends over for appetizers.

Oh and that chocolate and sea salt I've tried some and a square at a time is just enough for me. It's a nice change to chocolate.

I just had that caramel bar the other day. Good stuff. Of course raw chocolate is an essential!

That storm seems brutal. But a good excuse to stay inside and snuggle with baby A, huh?

Happy New Year!

Whoa on the snow! Glad it's on that side of the country instead of this side. ;)

And that caramel bar is my fave flavor by that brand. Yummy!

Enjoy these cozy days with Ms. Sweetie! She looks like papa eh?

Happy New year!

Also, I've been following your blog for a while but I haven't commented yet because I haven't had a blog of my own, but now I do, and it would mean a lot to me if you checked it out.

A is so adorable! MN has been getting a lot of snow lately, too! It's kinda fun being snowed in with your sweetie sometimes - as long as you have chocolate. :)

Happy New Year!!!
