A Book Review: Kristen Suzanne's Easy Raw Vegan Transition Recipes!

Hey All! I hope you are having a great week! Today I bring you a book review: Kristen Suzanne's Easy Raw Vegan Transition Recipes! I was lucky enough to receive this book last month to review and I've been thoroughly enjoying it! This is my kind of cookbook, it combines raw and cooked vegan recipes that are really simple and really delicious. I made a few recipes so far, but I have a lot of pages marked for recipes I plan on trying in the near future. This is a terrific book for anyone who is vegan, raw, cooked, whatever! I especially like that their are "sneaky recipes" so you can fool your hubby or children into eating raw and not even knowing it! :) Kristen's recipes are super healthy with only pure wholesome ingredients. You don't have to worry about weird ingredients either, most of the recipes you can whip up with stuff you already have in your pantry.
I've tried, only a few of the "high raw" recipes, so far. But I plan on getting to the raw ones soon!
This was Coconut Yogurt with Superfood Fixin's. This was so creamy and delicious! I ate it for dessert one night!
Miso's Lentils! This was sooooo good!! I made this two weeks in a row! T and I loved the addition of sundried tomatoes to the lentils! Mmm!

And Tofu Eggless Salad. The crunchiness of the raw veggies in this recipe was amazing! I had it on two pieces of sprouted grain bread, but it would also be great alone or in a lettuce wrap for a really high raw meal!
There are a few other recipes on my list to make: Nutty Breakfast Quinoa, "OMG" Chickpea salad, Cheezy Corkscrew Macaroni, Pregnant Momma Protein Shake (I have to make this one SOON!), Sunny Lemon Macaroons, Garlic Olive Spread, Must-Make Kale Salad, Rae Fiesta Tacos! I could go on and on! I will be sure to post pictures once I make more! For now check out this fabulous book and grab yourself a copy! :) XO

Please, will you let me know how the protein shake works out? Remember I asked you a few weeks ago for recommendations for a friend with Crohn's? She's currently on the search for a protein shake that is palatable as her doc recommended Ensure and she can hardly choke it down.

Great review! I always love a good tofu eggless salad!

I want this book! Thanks for reviewing it.

For some reason I never liked tofu egg salad but like it raw. That's why it's nice to have a hand in both worlds.

Thanks for the comments everyone and THANK YOU LAUREN for such a great review! I'm so glad you enjoyed the book. Tonight I'm making the Cheezy Corkscrew Macaroni for my parents, greg and myself. They all love it and request it every time we come for a visit. lol. I'm adding steamed broccoli and I think I'll add diced Gardein. ;)

XOXO,
Kristen

Your still here, I guess that meansyour baby girl still isn't ready to come into this world just yet.
Sundried tomatoes in a lentil soup, hmmmm I'll have to try that one out.
