My days this week consisted of 2 green smoothies daily. I have been loving these sweet creatures! Mmmmm! This one was- Cilantro, Frozen Papaya, Pineapple, Mango and Bananas, and Vanilla Sunwarrior! Creamy, delicious, amaaaazing!
On Wednesday night my Father-in-law took T, my 2 brother in laws, my younger brother in laws friend and other brother in laws fiance and myself to the Nets vs. Cavilers game! My future sis in law and I are not fans of any sport, but I do enjoy watching a game live, especially with seats in the 5th row! My biggest complaint was the smell! Hotdogs and concession food galore! Ick! None of us has anything (besides water). I was so grossed out by the adults and kids walking by with full glasses of soda and hotdogs in their hands. What a nightmare. I am so glad we had ordered food from our favorite salad/soup/sandwich bistro beforehand. I had a romaine salad with chickpeas, broccoli and olives. I also had a vegan split pea soup. Take that junk food!
I took a few pictures of the only player I really knew: Lebron James.
All in all it was a fun time! But we always have a good time with them. My father in law is a riot. Actually, the whole crew that went is pretty funny. Lots of laughing going on. That's my idea of a family.
Sleepy head Ginger got a camera in her face yesterday morning. "No pictures, no pictures!" As you can see she wasn't too happy.
I picked up my co-op box yesterday with these goodies in it: Jonagold apples, Penta gold potatoes, Florida celery, green chard, parsley, broccoli, carrots, cauliflower, grapefruit, romaine lettuce, butternut squash, cherry tomatoes, bananas and pears.

Have a nice weekend everyone! I am not sure what our plans are yet, I am hoping to talk T into going to see Hair again, LOL!! I am obsessed. T says he sings "Hair" all night in his sleep because I am always playing the music! Sunday is the last show with the new original cast before they head to London to do the show for 6 months! The cast replacing them has 2 ex-American Idol contestants and I am so not interested (no offense to them at all, I just like the cast now). I love the cast now, they are amazing!! SEE:The guy who plays "Berger" (dark hair) messed up my hair when we were in the audience, fun times! :)
In case you are wondering, the title of this post is from HAIR. Being an Aquarius and all, I thought it fit!

Outside of the nasty smells, it looks like the game was fun! 5th row, wow! Good call on the healthy meal ahead of time.

Hair is awesome. I love all things hippie-esque. That smoothie looks yum in the tum! I agree- so gross to see people eating that crap. I can't even go into regular grocery stores without leaving horrified as I glance in people's carts. Oh, you can't afford to buy organic apples, but you can afford that $4.00 box of Captn Crunch??? And Jimmy Dean Sausage Links?? Riiiight. lol. Hope you get to go see Hair again!
Can I just say I esp loathe concession smells in the movie theater?! Ugh! Esp hot dogs. No no.
How fun to go to a game though and sit so close. I do love live sports. Well, I do enjoy sports anyway. :)

Ginger is such a doll! Oh and I stocked up on some of the Rawnola today too :) Love that stuff. Gotta work out how to make me some of that. Shouldn't be too hard I guess.
