Hey Everyone! Yes, I said Clementine in that video about 1,000 times! I told you I was camera shy!! I get nervous and repeat myself! Ha ha! I am going to try to make a video of myself in a few days, what should I discuss? That's the issue, I don't know what to say!
I've been enjoying my green juices as usual. This one was romaine, kale stems, yellow squash, apple and lemon. The sun was coming into my office so bright, I had to take a picture of my juice in that spot! The other night for dinner, I made Melody of MeloMeals: Eggplant Quinoa Soup. Only I replaced the eggplant with zucchini. I made this last Winter and froze a bunch and enjoyed it a few other times! YUM! Yesterday morning I made the most delicious smoothie! This smoothie reminded me of caramel! YUM! I used 1 can of organic pumpkin, 1 frozen banana, 5 dates, hemp and flax seeds, and some ice. Have a nice day everyone! Check out this awesome giveaway going on at The Voracious Vegan!
Looks great! My doctor has ordered me to eat and drink more warm things because my body temp. is low and my limbs are always freezing. I have been getting into soups! Whole Foods has an amazing vegan pumpkin soup. Have you seen it?
oooooh, i haven't had pumpkin in a smoothie in forever. i'm gonna have to make one soon! thanks for the tasty idea, Lauren. i'm camera shy, too. tee hee! what a great idea to juice kale stems. i made a raw kale salad (you totally inspired me to!) this morning, but i composted the stems. next time i'll save them for juice or veggie stock. :) we made Melody's soup sometime last year and absolutely loved it - yours sounds great with the zucchini. yum! enjoy your day!
I'm always afraid of my juicer stopping up on me if I use the stems. Oh well i''ll give it a try. That soup looks great! I love eggplant. Years ago when I was having alot of stomache issues, the Doctor of Oriental Medicine that I was going to, put me on a diet of cooked foods and room temperature drinks or above. Along with these nasty powdered herbs I had to drink 3x a day. don't miss that part!
I love the green juice in the wine glass. It looks very pretty in there! The quinoa soup sounds awesome, I bet you have all sorts of yummy energy after that. :)
Lauren, your words ALWAYS humble me. I'll never get used to the idea that I am inspiring, but I am going with it! Thank you!
Enjoy your Dean's goodies! I was thinking of going tomorrow, too! I have to drop off my saliva test across the street. My doc is checking my cortisol levels. Maybe I will see him in passing! He is such a sweety to do some shopping for you! You deserve to be waited on hand and foot! ;-)
SO GLAD your meds are helping! I am envisioning a healing, white light around your cute tummy. YOU WILL BE CURED!
