Birthday Surprise for Me? :)

Happy Friday!

I am glad to see everyone is excited about my giveaway! I am pretty excited too and no worries if you don't win this one because I have 2 more coming up! Believe me these are things you all are going to want!! ;)

Earlier this week I made a delicious high raw kale salad for dinner. I added sprouts, avocado, Bubbies raw pickles, a crumbled up Sunshine Burger, grape tomatoes and a few small pieces of sweet potato. This was so good!I actually juiced this week! Lately it's been all about the smoothies for me, but I did have this strong green juice: kale stems, broccoli stems, romaine, ginger, apple, zucchini.
On Thursday, I went to a meditation class with my best friend (who will also be my sister in law in a year!). We are making yoga dates! Right now I haven't gone to a class in awhile, I've been doing yoga at home, and it's NOT the same! Anyway, I had this for dinner that night: a high raw sandwich: sprouted grain bread with avocado, sprouts, Bubbies raw pickle slices and mustard. On the side I had a salad: romaine, mushrooms, olives, sprouts and avocado.
My lunch yesterday: blueberries, cranberries, spirulina, hemp, flax and chia seeds, coconut milk, banana, a scoop of Sun Warrior Protein and kale.
I received a lovely surprise in the mail this week! My beautiful, kind, wonderful friend Maria, sent me an early birthday present: 2 Righteously Raw chocolate bars: Goji and Caramel flavor and a beautiful card. Maria is such a kind sweet soul, we met awhile ago on MyCSL and ironically, she lives 2 towns over from my parents (where I grew up). We are going have a juice date one of these days! :) THANKS MARIA! XOXO!
Have a wonderful weekend! T and I will be celebrating his birthday (which is Monday) by going out with some friends and maybe heading to the city!

**Just to clarify, my birthday isn't until February 1st! :) But the early birthday wishes are always welcomed!**

happy friday, Lauren! that was so super sweet of Maria to surprise you with those rock'n raw bars. hooray! so awesome on making yoga dates with your to-be sister-in-law - yoga at home is always good, but you're right - it's not the same as going to a class. a meditation class sounds awesome! yay for bring back some green juice and i'm digging your tasty smoooothies, as always. bubbies raw pickles are my favorite! enjoy your weekend with T - and tell him happy birthday on monday for me! hugs and happyfaces!

I'm with you - I think yoga at the studio is much better than yoga at home. I seem to fall over more when I do it at home... :)

Happy Birthday to T! I always celebrate more than just the actual day. It's more fun that way. :-)

Love all your eats with pickles. Practicing for getting pregnant?

My husband is getting some sun warrior protein. do you like it? It's not gritty, is it?

Wish one of my friends would marry my brother. It would be nice to have a friend as a sister-in-law.

Ah yes, I miss doing yoga with a class... I just do it at home. You're right, it's not the same, and definitely not as motivating. Still fun though!

What a nice post = ). Happy early birthday to you..

I hope I win the ice cream maker! I am in dire need.

Also, avocados and sprouts are the worst food combo for me. I get sick. How do you fare?

Too bad they taste so good together!

have a lovely day!
