Last week someone from the POM company asked if they could send me some samples. I told her that I didn't drink pasteurized juice but my husband does, if they still wanted to send it. Well, they did, and T is ecstatic!
I purchased a few goodies from Matt Monarch and Angela Stokes. I bought 2 raw goji bars and SNACKAROONS!!!! I have been wanting to order them for the longest time but the shipping was pretty high.. I couldn't resist when I saw them on the table! They are really fabulous and each cookie is HUGE!! They are all raw and have a major coconut flavor. I just hope I don't eat them all before the week is over!
What a long weekend! I had so much fun! I hope everyone else did as well! Enjoy your week!

i've just starting dabbling in the raw food ways, so I love seeing all of your meals! it is really helpful for me!! I am dying to try those sunshine burgers, but I keeping shying away because of the price!!
love your blog, and I just saw Matt Monarch's video of the expo- looked like so much fun!!!
I have heard that those Vanilla Almond Macaroons were good.. now I wish I would have bought some!
I've been searching everywhere for those sunshine burgers!! I want me some falafel!
Happy June to you to!! I love the look of that great salad.
Enjoy your new toy!! Looks like loads of fun.
Those Snackaroons are A-MAZING! Have you tried Laughing Giraffe's Granola? I had a giveaway a while back for a bag of it. SOOOOO GOOD!!!!! I too am dying to try those sunshine burgers. Maybe they will go on sale soon! (fingers crossed!!!)
BTW: as a redhead (ginger) who loves pink, your blog rocks my socks!
How beautiful the flower is!
That falafel burger sounds really good right now. I'll have to try out that brand, we're going wheat free for at least a couple of weeks, I need to find out if my son is reacting to wheat. I was thinking about getting a rebounder for my pilates. Enjoy yours!
Oh, it all looks so good! And the surprise flowers how fun. We just moved in here last summer so we are getting surprise plants all over the place. There are potatoes growing in the yard Potatoes. I know! it's silly!
So glad you had fun, too!! I'm going to do a long post on beauty products soon, but to sum it up: I use Natures Gate shampoo, alba face wash, and nothing but coconut oil on my skin! The shiny hair totally emerged with raw eating :)
Happy June to you too!!! Wow, you had such a wonderful weekend, I just love reading your blog, I'm so inspired while I'm reading along. =D
Surprises popping up from the earth! How fun. Wonder who/what will show up next. Coincidentally, I had a very similar orange flower appear this weekend...a lily of some kind? And, I was like "Oh Hi! I have no recollection of planting you."
Okay, seriously, if you do not own stock in Parma and Raw Kraut...you should! :D
Sorry to hear Matt & Angela did not bring along any Sea Tangle noodles for you.
So, what do you use for dressing on your Kale Salad? I don't eat Kale much because I find it too strong. I've made some Kale chips before, but even they were really strong.
Also is the Falafel you mentioned RAW? If so can you share the recipe?
Hi Caleb,
I only use olive oil on my kale salads. I massage it in for 3 minutes to make the kale soft. It's something you should try, but I am not sure if you will be a fan (especially if you don't like kale chips).
The falafel is not raw. It's the Sunshine Burger brand, so it's gluten free, vegan, and soy free. Made from nuts, spices and veggies. They are probably the closest to "raw" in a cooked veggie burger that you can get.
Thanks for stopping by!
that cabbage salad looks perfect! i need to stock up on some sun dried tomatoes, for sure!
yummy!!!!!
Pom seems to have hopped on the blog train. They wanted to send me stuff too but as I am in Cananda- all I am getting are coupons.
your burger and salad looks so yummy! really enjoy looking at them.
Your food looks amazing! Especially that Kale salad :)
