Whooa Friday!
I usually don't post on Saturday but I had so many yummy things yesterday, it deserved a special post! Yesterdays Juice: Romaine and Pear. Aimee asked me yesterday how much juice I drink in a day, and unfortunately I only have about 16 ounces. I would drink a lot more but or grocery bill is already through the roof and buying more produce would just kill us! One day.. :)
Inspired by Kris Carr's Buddha Bowls (she posted about it in her 'Weekly Tune-up' Newsletter) I decided to make my own with what I had left over in my fridge. This was wild rice, raw collards, avocado, olives, Roma tomatoes, sun dried tomatoes, a Sunburger and lots of Parma. All mixed up, the perfect Friday lunch.
I received a wonderful surprise in the mail yesterday as well! After winning a contest on Dreamin' It Vegan they sent me some Miso Mayo. It's pretty good but it tastes very cheesy to me! Not being a huge cheese fan it is going to take getting use to. But it is definitely filled with flavor! I even used some on the sushi rolls below.

That sushi looks so good! I ADORE that sauerkraut.. sooo good! One of these days I want to make my own..
I wish I could afford a quart of green juice a day... Oh well, at least I can afford a quart of green smoothie a day.. and that is fabulous!
Your daily green juice and raw sauerkraut (and any other cultured veggies you experiment with) are going to HEAL your Crohn's. From my lips to God's ears. And, you can tell your doctor that.
