For lunch the other day I made a recipe that I got from Nomi Shannon's The Raw Gourmet. It was an avocado with olives and raw sauerkraut. Of course I sprinkled Parma on top. Totally perfect in every way! My new favorite dish!
Just a quick reminder, don't forget about my giveaway! I picked up some raw and vegan goodies and Trader Joes and I am going to the health food store Sunday to get some more stuff. :)
Some other stuff you should all check out:
I am not sure if any of you visit the Raw Model blog, but Anthony is really smart and knowledgeable. His videos and pictures are always so great and very informative, he's really an inspiration in the raw community. Check out his blog for more!
Nicole from Nicole Raw and Awake and Lacey at Livin Lovely and Healthy are both giving away an Amazing Grass package! I hope I win one because Amazing Grass is wonderful!
Again, RawFu Magazine is HOT! Get yourself a subscription, I am telling you, soooo worth it! If you already get it, tell your local health food store they need to get on it and carry it!!
Have a nice weekend all!

Hmm That shampoo sounds like good stuff! I know how you feel about your hair. I have PCOS which caused my hair to go thin a few years ago. I went from super thick to thin really fast.
i love raw gourmet. the first recipe i ever made was the avocado and kraut... sooo tasty!
Thanks for the shoutout! I experienced hair loss with raw food and i thought it was detox but it was a b12 deficiency... seaweed, tempeh, and many other products high in b12 contain b12 analogues (something that your body can't digest or utilize) try supplementing asap so that you don't lose anymore hair!! <3
Yay! I'm so glad you are feeling better!
I am soo loving the sauerkraut!
ooh, I am going to make that avocado and kraut salad for dinner tonight!
Oh, sweetie, it makes me so happy to see that you're feeling better! That seriously warms my heart. I am so, so glad. More proof that eating raw and vegan can help you to heal!
That salad looks amazing. Happy friday, sweetie.
I am really motivated and I know I am going to heal my Crohn's.YES YES and YES!!!
I know you are.
Fresh Green Juice = Radiant Life Force Energy
Your hair will grow back and be even more beautiful once the nasty-caca steroids are out of your system.
Mmm that raw meal with the avocado looks delish :)
And I lose a lot of hair as well, I seem to get new growth but it's still a bit worrying :( I saw that brand of hair care recently, I'm glad you think it works well, I might buy some soon!
I will be doing phone interview with raw chef Ani Phyo and I am collecting questions that people might have about her or raw foods in general. If you have a question for her stop by my page and leave a comment :-)
Your positive attitude alone is enough to heal your Crohn's. Your heathy diet make it a certainty. Just keep it up!
i'm so happy you're still feeling great, Lauren! that rocks so hard! sorry you're losing a bit of hair, but it sounds like the shampoo = the best! good stuff! your tasty raw gourmet dish looks beautiful, and hooray for some deeeelish tempeh (and creamy cannelini beans sounds wonderful)! thanks again for a great giveaway, Lauren - it's so exciting!
