Flowers, Plants, Garden..CHOCOLATE!

After a really nice (rainy) weekend, I am glad it's Monday again. I am feeling good and I am ready to make it a great positive week. My appetite was up big time over the weekend and I am going to have to really control it this week (otherwise being on Prednisone I will gain 1,000 lbs!).

I cut some Lilac that was on my yard and put it in a vase. My house smells so beautiful from it. It's so wonderful discovering what is growing in my yard, since we only moved in this past September we had no idea what lovely things would be popping up in our yard this Spring.
On Saturday T and I found a new health food store/deli nearby. I felt like a wrap but was going to pass because I didn't think they offered gluten-free. To my surprised when I asked the guy showed me Food For Life Gluten free brown rice wraps! So excited I ordered the Veggie Hummus Sandwich which was raw and grilled vegetable with hummus. Tasty!
We also went out to a farm on Saturday and bought all of our plants for our garden. T planted and I was the helper. We planted tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, eggplant, okra and peppers. A few varieties of each! The bunnies are already eyeing the garden, I hope our little fence holds up!
Saturday night we had my brother in law and his fiance over after dinner. So we wanted something quick and easy to have before they came. We made some grilled veggies: eggplant, potatoes and sweet potatoes and had Sunshine Burgers with sprouts, avocado, tomato, onion and mustard on a romaine leaf wrap. YUM!
Sunday morning I woke up with a craving for something different then my usual smoothie. I got a little creative and spread some peanut butter on 2 romaine leaves and stuffed them with bananas. Oddly enough this was delicious! Hit the spot!
Last night I indulge in some Vosges Organic 76% cacao chocolate. My brother in law and his fiance bought it for us when they went to the Vosges store in the city last weekend. I am not sure how long it's going to last, it's really really good!!
Have a great Monday everyone! Send me some sunshine!!! It's going to be cloudy here most of the week!
